This Week: 2/1 through 2/7

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in Art Marketing Tips – Tomorrow, art coach Aletta de Wal returns with another article in her ABC’s of Art Marketing series—and this time, she’ll be discussing the big P’s: perfection and procrastination. Don’t miss it!

Tuesday in Painting Tutorials – Barbara Tibbets will demonstrate how to create a “stained glass” look in your paintings by using transparent watercolor and black gesso. If you’re not familiar with this technique, I’d definitely recommend stopping by.

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Where Ana Guerra paints, happiness follows. Drop in to see a few of her amazingly bright, luminous paintings this Wednesday, and then make sure to submit your own artwork to be featured as well!

Thursday in General Art Advice – Finish out the week with Carrie Lewis’s latest article “3 Questions Every Artist Should Ask before Launching their Art Business.”

Plus, we’ve got big news here at EmptyEasel!

Last Monday we launched a brand new art-sharing and discovery service called Artwork Reveal! You can get the full scoop here, or if you’re ready now, just head on over and sign up—and yes, it’s completely free. :)

In case you’re curious, we’ll be growing our network of artists from this group as well, so please share the news with fellow art lovers and artists—we’d love to have every single one of you join!
