This Week: 9/23 through 9/29

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in General Art Advice – Tomorrow, Steff Metal will finish up her series on arts and craft fairs by sharing her very own “craft fair checklist.” Her checklist covers exactly what you need to take with you in order to stay comfortable AND sell your art.

Tuesday in Drawing Tips – Our colored pencil expert Carrie Lewis has put together a useful list of terms, definitions and techniques which she’ll be publishing on Tuesday. If you’re a beginner or intermediate colored pencil artist, I guarantee you won’t want to miss it.

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Drop by for some modern, “everyday” scenes painted en plein air (or occasionally sketched in charcoal) by Tom Hughes. As always, feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured on EE as well.

Thursday in Art Marketing Tips – At the end of the week, Alyice Edrich will discuss 4 ways that artists can use Pinterest—a social online pinboard—while still respecting others’ copyright.
