Since this week was "Photoshop Week" on EE, I thought it'd be interesting to know how many artists used Photoshop versus other image-editing software. Feel free to vote if you haven't yet!
Some artists are totally against making reproductions of their paintings, while other artists just want to sell prints of their work over and over again (and don't care that much about selling the originals.) Where do you stand?

Most of us are used to art galleries taking a commission on the sale of our art - usually between 40-50% of the sale. But with the rise of the internet, there are now online galleries with lower commission rates, or with monthly fees instead. So do artists still prefer the commission-based payment plan?
As an artist myself, I tend to look at the prices on artwork from a sort of "insider" perspective. I think about the cost of materials associated with making the art, the time it may have took, where the artist is at in their career, and how much demand there is for that specific style or subject matter. . .
Inspiration is an interesting thing for artists. Personally, I get most of my ideas for new painting series randomly, almost out of the blue. . . and I have to write them down immediately because I'm likely to forget if I don't. What inspires you?
For most artists, art is either our livelihood or we'd like it to be. It's a business. And I think that a little advertising - and putting some money aside each year for just that purpose - is a smart idea.
