This Week on EE: A Special Invitation

By admin in Weekly Preview

Before sharing this week’s upcoming articles, I want to talk about something a bit more personal, which I hope you’ll become just as excited and passionate about it as I am. :)

For the next 7 days I’ll be participating in a special fundraising event by wearing a pair of The Shoe That Grows. They were invented by a good friend of mine, Kenton Lee, to solve a serious problem which impacts over 300 million children in poverty—lack of shoes.

This unique shoe actually grows along with the child. . . 5 sizes, 5 years. . . and can literally save a life by protecting the child’s feet from disease, injury, and infection, as well as giving better access to education and other much-needed services.

If you have even 30 seconds today, please take a look at my fundraising page or to learn more about The Shoe, and how we can all help.

Now, let’s get to this week’s schedule!

Monday in General Art Advice – Tomorrow, Carrie Lewis will share some invaluable advice for taking the perfect reference photos for any of your upcoming art projects. If you often work from photographs, you won’t want to miss these tips!

Tuesday in Motivation – Ever find yourself being less-than-productive in the studio? Then by all means, drop in for John Thatcher’s 7 productivity hacks for artists—I promise you’ll find several good suggestions to help.

Wednesday in Other Tutorials – Drop by for part two of Phawnda Moore’s excellent rubber stamping tutorial. (And in the meantime, read part one here!)
