This Week: 12/4 through 12/10

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in Other Tutorials – Tomorrow, calligraphy expert Phawnda Moore will share some fantastic tips for designing fun, holiday-themed envelopes to go with your Christmas cards this year. (Plus, her Christmas card tutorial is coming just next week, so stay tuned for that as well!)

Tuesday in Featured Artists – See the earth’s beauty in an entirely new way with Laura Zepeda’s colorful (and oh-so-unique!) paintings made using crushed gemstones and minerals collected from the hills and mountains of North Carolina.

And, if you’d like to have your own artwork showcased on EE, send it in! We’re always looking for new artists to feature.

Wednesday in Drawing Tips – Finish out the week with a look at Carrie Lewis’s colored pencil toolbox. If you’ve been thinking of diving into colored pencils, but aren’t sure how much you need to spend, I’ve got good news—it’s not a lot! Carrie has 6 tools she recommends, and that’s it. See what they are this Wednesday!
