This Week: 9/27 through 10/3

By admin in Weekly Preview

Last week I mentioned that I might have a surprise up on EmptyEasel by Friday. . . unfortunately, that “surprise” is taking longer than I expected to finish. Oops!

I guess I’ll just have to let the anticipation build for a few more days. :) It should be up soon, though, so keep your eyes open for it this week!

Quick announcement - EmptyEasel has created a quicker, easier way for artists to have their own art website. Click here to learn more and get a simple art website of your own!

Now, on to our regularly scheduled program. . .

Monday in Drawing Tips – Tomorrow, Carrie Lewis will demonstrate how she uses Photoshop to redesign unsuccessful artwork (or, art that didn’t sell, for whatever reason). Even if you don’t have Photoshop, there’s a lot to be gleaned from this article!

Tuesday in Art Marketing Tips – Nicole Wensel from Limitless Artists will share 3 steps for finding the perfect audience for your art. This is her first guest post at EE, so be sure to swing by and make her feel welcome!

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Don’t miss seeing Sakunta Dasgupta’s phenomenal paper collages this Wednesday—they’re absolutely stunning, and quite unique! As always, if you’d like your own art to be featured on EE, send it in!

Thursday. . . just come by EE. :) There might be a new post in Announcements, but either way, you’ll definitely be able to see what I’ve been working on.

Since there were no new articles last week. . .

I thought I’d link to a few upcoming and current art contests over at A Singular Creation. Enjoy!

Is there something you’d like to share on EE? Send it in!
