Monday in Drawing Tips – Carrie Lewis will demonstrate how to create extremely dark “true blacks” by layering together several different colored pencil hues—drop in tomorrow for that, and take your drawings to the next level!
Tuesday in Selling Art Online – I’ll share the latest news on our upcoming EE Art Gallery project, including a sneak peak at a few of the artists already on board. If you’d like to be involved and haven’t applied yet, please read our previous announcement and then get in touch with your own application (it’s a very easy process.)
NOTE: We’re especially looking for artists creating figurative works, abstracts, and cityscapes to round out the gallery, so if that sounds like you,let us know!
Wednesday in Featured Artists – Painter Jorge Calero has a knack for seeing beyond the everyday into a world teeming with small delights. Swing by for a look at his magical landscapes, or as always, feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured as well!
AND, if you’re interested in mixed-media. . .
One of our most popular guest writers, Kellie Day, has planned a 12-day online art course next month where she’ll be teaching her playful collage and mixed-media painting techniques.
The class starts very soon, on June 13th, so to encourage early-bird sign ups she’s giving a $39 discount to all artists who join before June 1st. Even better, if you’d like to take the class with someone, just email Kellie when you join and she’ll send you a 25% off coupon for your friend!
If you’re interested, all the class information is in her intro video here, so make sure to take a look at that for the rest of the details!
