This Week: 10/19 through 10/25

Monday in Drawing Tips – Show of hands. . . how many of us have grabbed a snack or a drink while working on our art? Most of us, right? But what do you do when ketchup accidentally drips on your drawing? Or tea, or coffee? Come by tomorrow and learn a few helpful techniques for removing stains, spills, and other marks from watercolor and drawing paper.

Tuesday in General Art Advice – Adriana Guidi will share several fun, creative ways to take a break from art while still getting things done around your studio or home—for those times when you just need to get away from the drawing board and do something a little different!

Quick announcement - EmptyEasel has created a quicker, easier way for artists to have their own art website. Click here to learn more and get a simple art website of your own!

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Drop in for a look at some of Brett Lindsey’s gorgeous, color-saturated paintings. And in the meantime, don’t forget to submit your own artwork to be featured as well! We’re always searching for new artwork to showcase on EE.

Thursday in Motivation – Come back at the end of the week and hear about one artist’s recent painting trip to Greece. Travel is the ultimate cure artist’s block, but for those of us at home, living vicariously through others may do the trick just as well!
