Monday in Selling Art Online – As many of you probably already know, right now we’re running a pretty extreme pricing experiment over at Foliotwist.com.
Basically, we’re allowing artists to sign up for their own artist website, try us out for 10 days absolutely free, and then request whatever price they think is fair.
Naturally, we’ve gotten a lot of questions about it (most frequently, “What’s the lowest price I can ask for?”) so tomorrow I’ll be answering some of those and giving an update on how things are going so far.
Tuesday in Video Tutorials – Linda Baker will demonstrate a fairly easy method for softening hard edges in a watercolor painting, while also sharing some helpful tips on when and why you might want to do that.
Wednesday in Featured Artists – Make some time to drop by and check out Audrey Bunt’s seemingly flawless still lifes—I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. And, while you’re here, feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured as well.
Thursday in Artist Interviews – Alyice Edrich and Anne Manner-McLarty will discuss clay sculpting, the creative process, and what it really takes to go all the way from “just an idea” to a finished product.
Friday in General Art Advice – At the end of the week, don’t miss Aletta de Wal’s latest article, entitled, “6 Ways to Develop your Signature Style.”
