On Monday I won’t be publishing any new articles in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day—which is, coincidentally, also my birthday. :)
Tuesday in Video Tutorials – Professional watercolor painter Arleta Pech will explain how to create dynamic backgrounds that complement your subject matter. Whether you’re a watercolor painter or not, there’s good advice to be had in this video.
Wednesday in Featured Artists – Drop in and see some fantastic oil paintings by Malcolm Ludvigsen, a professor of mathematics who—in addition to being an excellent painter—is actually fairly well-known for his work on such topics as general relativity and black holes. Lisa Orgler has the full story on Wednesday.
Thursday in Selling Art Online – A while back it was suggested that I review an online gallery called 20×200, which sells limited edition prints by various artists and photographers. I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen so far, so I hope you’ll come back for that review on Thursday.
Friday in Artist Interviews – Last week Alyice Edrich put together an interesting Q&A session with Julie Haymaker Thompson, a former card illustrator for Hallmark and a current freelance artist. I’ll be posting that interview in full before the weekend.
