This Week: 10/31 through 11/6

Published Oct. 31st 2010

Monday I won’t be published a new article on EmptyEasel—instead, I’ll be finishing up a small project at Foliotwist, my other website for artists. Head on over there in a few days if you’re curious to see what’s new. :)

Tuesday in Art Marketing Tips - Ariane Goodwin will be sharing several reasons why the color black should never be used as the background color for your art website. I tend to agree with her on that. . . but read the article and decide for yourself.

Wednesday in Featured Artists - Drop in on Wednesday to see some rather unique nature photography by Portland artist and designer, Kirby Jones. As always, feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured on EE as well.

Thursday in Artist Interviews - Alyice Edrich and Phyllis Dobbs will be discussing the ins and outs of art licensing. If you’re interested in going that route with your art, you won’t want to miss this interview.

Friday in Art Opinion - Finishing out the week, John Stillmunks returns to EmptyEasel with another one of his dryly humorous article exploring the life of a traveling artist. His topic? Those “uncomfortable, awkward silences.”

You just have to read it. :)
