Holiday Post #10, from Sarah Lynch

By admin in Research > Art Websites

This post is part of EmptyEasel’s "spread the holiday cheer" experiment, where we’ve simply invited everyone to share their three favorite artists or art websites.

Here’s what Sarah Lynch had to say:

"Only three! That’s really hard—but these would probably be the three blogs (apart from Empty Easel of course:)) that I would miss the most if they stopped.

1. Illustration Art at IllustrationArt.blogspot.com

I have always been more inspired by illustrators than by fine artists. David Apatoff is a ready source of inspiration and has introduced me to several that I had not encountered before.

2. Edward B. Gordon at EdwardBGordon.blogspot.com

Although by no means the first daily painter, he was the first one I came across and I have been a loyal follower ever since. A Berliner, he provides daily glimpses into the life of that wonderful city.

3. Edith Dora Rey at doreyme.blogs.com

A Swiss-Canadian artist living in Montreal. Not only does she have a distinctive loose style which I admire, she is also very opinionated and always has something to say about the state of the world."
