This post is part of EmptyEasel’s “spread the holiday cheer” experiment, where we’ve simply invited everyone to share their three favorite artists or art websites.
Here’s what Catherine Meyers had to say:
“Oooh, there are so many to choose from. . . but the first three that really come to mind for me are:
1. Chris Bolmeier at www.ChrisBolmeier.com
Her site is very engaging with lots to see and read, always very helpful and practical information especially about marketing yourself as an artist. She’s fearless, a great mentor and a wonderful artist/painter/singer.
2. Robert Genn at RobertGenn.com
Wow, a wonderful Canadian artist. I am partial I suppose, being Canadian, but Robert truly is a remarkable artist/painter (he puts me in mind of The Group of Seven and Emily Carr) and also a great mentor.
His site is also very beneficial to other artists and anyone interested and involved with creativity. His twice weekly newletter is a great thing, very helpful, and best of all free! He’s all about artists supporting artists.
3. Mark Bryan at www.ArtOfMarkBryan.com
Lastly I am going to tell you about an artist I just discovered by mistake after searching for another artist with the same name. Mark Bryan’s art is very powerful, playful, weird and wonderful. Definitely gets your attention. . . “
