This Week: 3/11 through 3/17

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday – Tomorrow’s article will highlight one of the best art websites online—Making a Mark by Katherine Tyrrell. I’ve always found it to be informative, in-depth, and very encouraging. Although it focuses quite a bit on pastels and drawing, there’s a lot there for every artist. Don’t miss it!

Tuesday – This week’s featured artist William K. Moore paints images from the city of Bogota, Colombia. His work is full of life and culture, and I know you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.

WednesdaySalvador Dali has been on my mind lately (and no, I’m not sure why.) Click the link to read about his life and look at a few of his best works.

Thursday – Last week I received two very good questions via email and I’ll be answering one this week, and one next week. This week, the question is: “How artists develop their own personal style?”

Friday – An introduction to the Color Wheel has long been overdue here on EmptyEasel.com and this Friday I’ll be addressing that very subject. You’ll also find tips on how color theory applies to painting, and plenty of information that will apply to other artists as well.

SaturdayCartoons and more cartoons! (Generally about art, but you never know what might pop up. . . ) Plus, watch for a special announcement on Saturday.
