This Week: 2/15 through 2/21

Monday in Art Marketing Tips - One of the best ways to attract visitors to your new art blog or portfolio website is to write "guest posts" for established blogs. Tomorrow I’ll take you through a step-by-step guide to guest-writing—as you might expect, there’s more to it than just submitting in any old thing.

Tuesday in Painting Tutorials - Many artists use visual rhythms to keep their viewers’ eyes engaged. (It’s a great compositional technique if you can pull it off.) Don’t miss Dianne Mize’s full tutorial on the subject this Tuesday.

Wednesday in Featured Artists - Drop in mid-week for a look at some beautiful paintings by Sally Tharp. You can also submit your own artwork to be featured, too.

Thursday in Art Websites - As you may already know, MyArtSpace.com is a fairly popular social network just for artists. Recently I decided to learn a bit more, and you can catch my full review right here this Thursday.

Friday in Motivation - Ever feel like you’re stuck, artistically? Then come back at the end of the week for Cherie Hanson’s article on seeing progress in your artistic journey.
