Today I’m just going to share two of my favorite blogs with you.
InspireMeThursday.com is a great website to check out every week. Although intended for mixed media artists, there’s a lot there for any artist no matter what medium you use.
Each Thursday a new set of inspirational ideas and thoughts are posted in six categories: Look, Speak, Play, Read, Think, and Connect.
The goal of InspireMeThursday is to encourage artists to broaden their creative horizons, and it’s a website which I highly recommend. Whether you’re in a creative slump or not, InspireMeThursday will always get your creativity flowing.
The second website is DaniDraws.com. If you’re an illustrator, this website is an invaluable resource for you, with excellent video tutorials and well-written, informative articles.
Dani uses a Wacom Tablet for most of her illustrations, and has already passed along some fantastic tips on using a Wacom which I’ve found very helpful as I’ve just started using my own Wacom Graphire.
But if you don’t use a Wacom there’s still plenty there – Dani also writes about Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as general tips for artists.
So whenever you have a few minutes, take the time to browse through both of these websites. You won’t be disappointed.
