This week’s poll is short and sweet—I thought it might be interesting to see how other artists expected to be using the internet a decade from now, so I wrote out the following question:
Looking ahead, how important (or helpful) do you think the internet will be to you, as an artist, 10 years from now?
- I honestly don't think I'll be using the internet much at all.
- I'll probably display my art somewhere online, but I doubt it'll change my life.
- Very helpful. I plan on selling some art online, and I'll probably be using it for networking or research too.
- Indispensible. I'd like to sell my art exclusively online and I know I'll be trying out everything new that comes along for artists.
If you’re an artist, feel free to vote. . . I fully expect the results to be skewed towards the “important” end (they have been so far) but since this IS an internet poll I imagine that won’t be a surprise to anyone else either.
