Would you like a free custom-designed art website? If so, now’s your chance!

ArtFlock

Throughout the next few weeks, EmptyEasel will be teaming up with our good friends over at ArtFlock.com to host a special, one-of-a-kind competition just for artists—so if you’re an artist and you’re reading this, you’re definitely invited to join!

ArtFlock is also celebrating the launch of its new Website Publisher tool for artists, and we’ve come up with some really great prizes to mark the occasion.

We’re giving away two custom-designed artist websites (both with their own domain name) that are worth approximately $600 each.

How are we choosing the winners? That’s the best part—we’re not. Instead, we’re letting the public decide with a good ol’ fashioned democratic vote.

Here’s how to enter (in two simple steps):

First, create a free artist account at ArtFlock’s sign-up page (or log in to your current account if you’re already an ArtFlock member) and upload some of your artwork.

Second, head over to http://www.artflock.com/competition/emptyeasel and choose your best piece to enter the competition with.

Pretty simple, right? After that your fate is in the hands of the public, so you’ll probably want to get everyone you know involved.

I’ll be doing my part by posting all the competition artwork on EmptyEasel.com next week—which means you can drop by here each day, see a bunch of great art, then go vote for your favorite. . . or your own. : )

Competition guidelines

Actually, there aren’t too many rules, everything’s pretty straightfoward.

Basically you can submit a work of art for the competition up until 11:59pm on Thursday the 19th, and voting will continue for another week after that.

The rule is one vote per person per day, so if you want to, you can return to the main competition page each day and vote again until the contest is over.

I think that’s about all there is to it. Good luck, and remember to vote next week!
