Ready to Be Inspired? Watch This Stunning Re-creation of a Baroque Painting!

Art reproduction company TOPofART recently sent me the time-lapse video below, and it blew my mind—I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. :) Enjoy!

If you’re curious, the painting in the video was commissioned by a film studio for a movie set, and is nearly the same size as the original (277cm x 194cm) which hangs in the Louvre in France.

Originally painted by Hyacinthe Rigaud, Portrait of Louis XIV of France is one of his best known works. According to TOPofART, the reproduction took about a month of hard work, and is painted entirely in oil on linen.
