Monday in Video Tutorials - Mixed-media artist Polly Hammett will be taking us through her process of creating small value sketches for a larger painting. If you’ve never done that before, I’d recommend dropping in tomorrow and checking it out.
Tuesday in Artist Interviews - Alyice Edrich and Lenae May will discuss a whole range of topics this Tuesday, including (but not limited to) the joys of repurposing vintage materials, using copyright-free images, and the value of adding “whimsy” to every creation.
Wednesday in Featured Artists - With the ability to find beauty in every old lamp-post and faded brick wall, Zakary John Fellman won’t be running out subjects to paint anytime soon. Come back on Wednesday to see his paintings, and as always, feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured on EmptyEasel too.
Thursday and Friday there will be no new articles, in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday. If you’re celebrating as well, have a wonderful Turkey Day!
