This Week: 10/3 through 10/9

Published on Oct. 3rd 2010

On Monday I’ll be pretty busy with the launch of Foliotwist’s new Traffic Booster training course, so I won’t be publishing a regular article—I may post something about the launch, but that’s about it.

And just a reminder, if you’re interested in enrolling in Traffic Booster at its low, pre-launch price, make sure to sign up before midnight tonight (Sunday, October 3rd). Check out this blog post for all the details.

Tuesday in Video Tutorials – Claudine Hellmuth will be demonstrating an interesting collage technique that involves—believe it or not—metal polish and magazines. It’s an incredibly creative use of materials, and very easy, too.

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Stephen Dobson is a talented painter who captures fast-paced urban environments (cityscapes, street scenes, etc) in oil. Drop by to see his paintings on Wednesday, and as always, feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured as well.

Thursday in Artist Interviews – Join us this Thursday as Alyice Edrich and Joni Nickrent of Pop Art Minis discuss what it takes to promote your art through social networking channels. Highly recommended if you’re just starting out online.

Friday in Art Marketing Tips – At the end of the week, don’t miss Rachel Rolseth’s fantastic tutorial for making small, light-weight portfolio books (perfect for carrying around, or even mailing if you need to!)
