Monday in Video Tutorials - Tomorrow, Susan Bourdet shows us how she begins a watercolor painting by applying a wet-into-wet wash to the paper. Her instructions include proper brush use, color mixing advice, tips for using masking fluid to protect your drawing, and a lot more.

Tuesday in Art Marketing Tips - Alyice Edrich continues her how-to series on blogging with a step-by-step tutorial that explains how to set up a free art blog through Google’s popular blogging program, Blogger.

Wednesday in Featured Artists - Sharlena Wood mixes charcoal and acrylic paint to create some very dramatic, emotional paintings. Drop back in on Wednesday for that, and feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured as well.

Thursday in General Art Advice - We’ve all had artwork that hasn’t sold. . . and usually we just end up hanging onto those pieces forever. But what if there was a way to breathe new life into those old, unsold paintings? On Thursday, Lori McNee shares her process for doing just that.

Friday in Motivation - Good art takes practice, but sometimes just “practicing” can make you feel like you’re in a rut. Judy Palermo has some ideas for breaking free of that rut—and in a way you might not expect. Come back on Friday to learn more.
