Where do Most Artists Sell Art? Online, in a Gallery. . .Where?

There are so many different ways and places to sell art these days that recently I began to wonder where most artists sell their art.

I know EmptyEasel focuses a lot on selling and marketing art online, but perhaps it’s still traditional galleries that most artists use. Maybe it’s personal art websites, or eBay, or just through friends. . . I don’t know. But I’d like to find out, and and I’m sure other artists will be interested in these results well.

So if you haven’t voted yet, cast your vote now to see the results below. And if you sell art somewhere that’s not listed here, please feel free to add it at the bottom.

Where (or how) do you sell most of your art?

Truth be told, for me the answer usually depends on where the sales are. However, a few weeks ago I thought it would be interesting to find out whic. . . read more
Today's poll is an interesting one for me because I honestly didn't think about what the results would be like. I just was curious to know what had helped others improve at art the most, and then I listed several things that I knew had helped me. But looking at the answers so far it's almost l. . . read more
