This Week: 5/20 through 5/26

Published May 20th 2007

Monday - Ever wonder why you’re an artist? For most, it’s probably the desire to create, right? Tomorrow I’ll talk a little bit about why I’m one—and it might be different than you’d expect.

Tuesday - On Tuesday I’ll be writing about the life and works of Andy Warhol. As an artist, he really understood the power of publicity and I think we could all learn a lot from him.

Wednesday - Moving on through my color series, this Wednesday I’ll write about another one of my favorite hues, the color orange. And yes, I apparently have several favorites.

Thursday - Thanks again to all of you who have submitted artwork for review on EE. There’s been some absolutely fantastic work coming in, so make sure to drop in on Thursday and see this week’s featured artist.

Friday - On Friday I’ll be sharing how to make a good oil painting medium and the proper use of turpentine. If you’re a new oil painter you won’t want to miss this tutorial.

Saturday - Hmm. Anyone have a suggestion for my Saturday cartoon? Send me your idea and perhaps I’ll draw it.
