A Don Imus Cartoon and a Sanjaya Malakar Cartoon - Combined!

Don Imus and Sanjaya Malakar

This week I saw an obvious connection between Sanjaya Malakar, American Idol contestant, and Don Imus, formerly the talk radio host of Imus in the Morning.

And so, I now present you with the somewhat awkwardly named, Sanjaya Malakar / Don Imus Cartoon.

Both Sanjaya and Imus live and die by the whim of the public, and both of them should have gotten the boot this week. But while Imus did get fired, Sanjaya managed to stick around due to his small yet very active fan base.

In both cases, I think it’s a case of selective deafness on the part of the American public.
