The EE Art Gallery: A Progress Report

By admin in Misc > Announcements

Today’s update will be fairly short, but—as promised—I do want to make sure that all of you know where we’re at with the new EmptyEasel art gallery.

That said, if this is the very first time you’re hearing about an EE gallery, PLEASE head over and read our previous announcement—I think you’ll be very interested. :)

The big news that I have to share today is that we’ve already accepted 24 artists into the gallery! Here are just a few of the talented artists we’ll be representing:

Richard Rogers
Janet Bonneau
Timonthy Chambers
Vicki Greene
Jim Flanagan
Linda Fischer

I also have 5 more acceptance emails to send out tomorrow, which means we’re quickly approaching our goal of 40 artists. . . so if you’re at all interested in being part of the EE art gallery, make sure to let me know!

Once we reach 40 artists, we will be focusing on choosing specific works from each artist’s portfolio, and will not be accepting more artists until after the gallery launches.

It may help to know that at this point we’re still looking for more abstract pieces, as well as non-traditional landscapes, such as cityscapes, seascapes, small town scenes, etc. We also have openings for figurative works.

If any of that sounds like your type of art (or like an artist you know) please DO apply or pass the word along.

Aside from all that, we’re still in the process of choosing a website host/programmer, and HOPEFULLY I’ll have some good news on that front soon. :)

Stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks—and thanks again for being a part of this journey!
