This Week: 3/29 through 4/4

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in Painting Tutorials – Tomorrow, Niki Hilsabeck will be sharing 4 inexpensive ways to add unique texture to your mixed-media paintings. If you work in a variety of media and you like to combine them occasionally, this is definitely a must-read!

Tuesday in Selling Art Online – As part of our ongoing goal to help artists succeed online, I’d like to have all of you (or at least as many as want to!) participate in a quick survey on Tuesday. It’ll be easy, very fast, and hopefully fun! See you then!

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Drop in for a look at Coloradoan Katie Hoffman’s otherworldly oil paintings, influence by religious mythology, Jungian archetypes, and fairytales. As always, feel free to submit your own artwork, too. We’re always on the lookout for new artists to feature!

Thursday in Motivation – Finish out the week with Mark Leggett’s story—a familiar one, perhaps, for many of us who were artists from a young age, but took a long detour for “real life” before getting back on track. Don’t miss it!

And, just a quick update on last week. . .

The relaunch of Foliotwist (our artist website service) went very well, with quite a few of you checking out our new prices. A good number have already signed up for the Totally Free option, too!

If you missed it, never fear, just head on over and see for yourself. We’ve added new features AND new prices, so it’s probably changed quite a bit since you visited last!

Is there something you’d like to share on EE? Send it in!
