This Week: 7/20 through 7/26

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in Art Marketing Tips – Our resident art coach Aletta de Wal will resume her ongoing series, The ABC’s of Art Marketing, by taking a look at the letter “M”—Mastering your Marketing Message. Come by tomorrow to learn more!

Tuesday in General Art Advice – Carrie Lewis will share three ways to improve your old artwork without re-working it. If you’ve got piles of artwork sitting around (that you’d rather sell) these three tips are for you!

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Don’t miss this week’s incredibly lifelike oil portraits by musician and painter Richard Stone. Plus, if you’d like your own artwork to be showcased on EmptyEasel, please send it in! We’re always looking for new artists to feature.

Thursday in General Art Advice – If you’ve gotten stuck thinking of ways to sell more art, consider this: maybe it’s not a question of finding more buyers, but of increasing REPEAT buyers. Drop in on Thursday for several excellent techniques to do just that.

And, at the end of the week. . .

Swing by on Saturday and catch up with Michelle Morris as she shares some of what she learned from this week’s Craftsy video course, “The Art of the Picture Book.” (FYI, there will also be a deep discount on that class for EmptyEasel readers, so if you’re interested in book illustration, definitely come by!)
