This Week: 8/7 through 8/13

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in Video Tutorials – Tomorrow, Jacqueline Sullivan will demonstrate how to achieve a very light, almost organic texture using molding paste. Most of the time I see molding paste used to create thick, painterly texture, but in this case the results are quite different.

Tuesday in General Art Advice – Gail Stivers will be kicking off a new series of articles all about raising artistic children. In her first installment this Tuesday, she’ll be discussing how to create easy, kid-friendly creative spaces in any home.

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Drop by mid-week to check out some wonderfully expressive watercolor portraits by Peggi Habets. As always, feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured on EE right here.

Thursday in Art Marketing Tips – Alyice Edrich will explain how to create a “Sales Hub” page for your art, and why it’s a good idea, even if you already have an art blog or memberships on other online galleries.

Friday in Art Opinion – Painter Niki Hilsabeck will share some of her thoughts and opinions about RedBubble.com, after one year of displaying her work there.
