This Week: 9/12 through 9/18

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in Video Tutorials – Drop in tomorrow for a short (but good) video clip from Gloria Page. She’ll be demonstrating a simple, effective masking solution for both fabric and paper stamping.

Tuesday in Painting Tutorials – Have you ever wondered how artist grade oil paints really compare to student grade paints? Clemens Greis recently analyzed 3 of each, and on Tuesday he’ll let us know what he discovered.

Wednesday in Featured Artists – Randall David Tipton’s semi-abstract landscapes seem to exist in a world of their own. See what I mean on Wednesday, and as always, feel free to submit your own artwork to be featured as well.

Thursday in Art Marketing Tips – Alyice Edrich has seven suggestions for those of you who are considering allowing guest posts on your art blog. If you haven’t ever considered it, she’ll give you a couple good reasons for that, too.

Friday in Art Opinion – A few days ago I received a fascinating article by Rachel Rolseth entitled “Cultivating Shamelessness” which I’ll be posting here on Friday. I’ll be interested to see what you all think of it too.
