This Week: 3/30 through 4/5

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in Selling Art Online – Tomorrow I’ll wrap up my Adwords for Artists series (at least for the time being) and give some final thoughts on using Adwords to advertise your art online. To catch up on the first four articles in the series, start here.

Tuesday in Art Websites – In the last few months I’ve seen a strong art community developing at ArtBreak.com, an online art gallery and social network for artists with one of the lowest commission rates around. Come back Tuesday for the full review.

Wednesday in Featured Artists – I’ll be showing some works by Ben Lustenhouwer, a very talented portrait artist in three mediums: oil, watercolors, and graphite.

Thursday in General Art Advice – If you’re looking to start a career as a professional artist then don’t miss this Thursday’s article by Bruce K. Haley. He offers some very solid marketing and goal-setting advice—much of it from his own experiences—which every artist can make use of.

Friday in Artist Polls – How much is too much? Occasionally I run across portfolio website services which cost so much per month that I just can’t imagine paying for them, no matter what great features they have.

But, then again, maybe I’m just cheap. : )

So what’s the most you’d ever pay to have your own artist website? Vote now or head on over to see what other artists have said.
