This Week: 11/4 through 11/10

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday in Selling Art Online – GRAB YOUR VISITORS! The internet gives you only an instant to make an impression—so what are you doing to keep people’s attention, look professional, and make your art stand out? More on that subject, tomorrow.

Tuesday in Art Movements – After the incredible artistic heights of the Renaissance, art took an interesting turn. Drop by on Tuesday for an overview of Mannerism.

Wednesday in Featured Artists – More great artwork coming your way on Wednesday! Don’t forget, there’ll always be a new artist chosen every week, so go ahead and submit your own art if you’d like the chance to be featured.

Thursday in Selling Art Online – Check back in for a review of ArtWanted.com. . . It’s been around since 1999, but how does it compare? I’ll let you know on Thursday.

Friday in Historical Artists – Don’t miss Kimberley Walton’s upcoming article contrasting the work of Monet and Cezanne. And if you have an article of your own you’d like to share, send it in here!

While I’m on the subject, I recently had a reader ask me for tips or a tutorial on framing paintings. . . so if you’re a do-it-yourself framing expert, I know there are plenty of folks who’d love to hear about your process, the materials you use, etc.

I don’t know enough about framing to write an article, but I’m sure one of you does! Think about it and let me know. : )
