This Week: 9/2 through 9/8

By admin in Weekly Preview

Monday – There’ll be a third article in my SEO for Artists series tomorrow, with another tip on how to get individual pages of your website (or individual blog posts) showing up higher in Google’s search results. If you can find your home page via Google, but nothing else, this is the article for you!

Tuesday – In a somewhat similar vein as last week’s article on limited edition prints, Barney Davey has submitted a fascinating article on the changing print market. You can read all about it, right here, on Tuesday.

Wednesday – Thanks to all of the talented artists submitting work lately, my inbox is practically overflowing with art! I’ll be featuring one of those artists on Wednesday, and if you haven’t submitted your own art yet, please do!

Thursday – One perk of being a website owner is that I can see a list of words and phrases that have led people to my site via the search engines. Most are fairly typical, but on Thursday I’ll share (and comment on) a few of the more interesting ones, whether humorous, sad, or just plain odd.

Friday – Check in at the end of the week to read how Corinne Galla prepared to get her art out to the public. For those of you spinning your wheels, wondering how to start selling your work, this article offers some good advice.

By the way, if you’re wondering why I’m posting two submitted articles this week it’s because A) they’re excellent and deserve to be read, and B) I’m gearing up for a show on the 11th and needed a little more time to get everything ready. : )

So enjoy! And feel free to submit your own art opinions or tutorials.
